ACTIVITY TWO

Approx time: 2 hours

Purpose: Collecting some data about your teaching: In this activity we are looking to gather some data about our own teaching and glean something about how our students see their learning experiences. To achieve this a tool is provided for you to conduct a mid-semester review of the unit or units you teach. The tool is a questionnaire for you to give to your students to fill out in class and evaluates the learning experience of the respondent.

You will then have collected your first real evidence of your own teaching.

Now to interpret it...

In the next activity we will consider how we might make use of what we learnt from our experiences and the use of the Mid-SemesterReview Questionnaire to plan for improvement of our methods and skills to deliver a more effective learning experience to our students in the future.
